Fat Burning Exercises

For anyone that wants to get lose weight and get ripped, fat burning exercises combined with a well balanced diet are key to getting that lean body you’ve always wanted.  First you need to know how to build muscle in order to burn fat.  The problem area for most people, especially men, is the abdominal region.  The stomach is usually the first place fat is stored and the last place it wants to leave.  This is undesirable for 2 reasons.  This first is the obvious unpleasing aesthetic reason and the second is that android obesity, or belly fat, greatly increases your risk for cardiovascular disease.  So the urge to get ripped abs could very well end up saving your life.  You could exercise all day long in the gym and never build lean muscle mass that you are trying for if you don’t follow a well balanced diet.  I’m not saying that you should go buy diet pill but some dietary supplements can help you achieve some of your goals of losing fat and building muscle.  The workout is only half the equation but for best results you have to watch your food intake.  Bodybuilders don’t get that ripped from lifting weights alone, they follow very strict diets along with their workout routines.

With that in mind lets take a look at some exercises that help you burn fat…

Running is a great way to burn calories but not the ideal way to lose weight fast.  One pound of fat is equivalent to 3,500 calories, which means you would have to run a lot in able to burn that amount of fat.  Getting ripped takes a little more effort than just running.  So think about the massive amount of time you would spend running to burn a few pounds, it would take a lot work.  This is why it would be easier to just avoid a couple high calorie bad foods throughout the day.  Within one week you could reduce your calorie intake by 3500 calories which would result in a pound of weight loss.  Now not eating isn’t going to burn stomach fat but it will help to burn body fat from all areas.  A combination of eating 3500 calories less in a week while doing cardio will set you on your way to lose fat fast.

I’m sure you’ve heard the expression “burn the fat feed the muscle,” well this is very important in any fitness program.  You need to make sure that when you hit the gym you aren’t losing weight in the form muscle.  The more muscle you have on your body, the more calories you will burn throughout the day.  Getting lean muscle mass doesn’t happen overnight but can take place very quickly.  Most people have the goal to burn fat build muscle and this is exactly what happens when you start fat burning workouts that focus on building muscle mass.  All guys want to know how to build muscle fast and while the workouts can be designed to produce faster results, the one thing you can’t change time.  It takes time for muscles to repair themselves from workouts but there are some bodybuilding supplements that will speed up muscle repair time so that you can get back in the gym sooner to continue working.

Let’s get back to the fat burning exercises.  When you lift weights you don’t burn many calories during the actual workout.  With cardio workouts you burn a lot of calories but then when you step off of that exercise bike or treadmill you are done burning calories for the most part.  So how does lifting weights help you burn fat if you don’t burn a significant amount of calories while doing it?  The key to success and a well known bodybuilding tip is that lifting weights causes your body to burn more calories throughout the entire day.  The more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn and the more fat you will lose.  Fat burning workouts aren’t limited to only the big muscle groups because all muscle will help burn calories throughout the day.  The fastest way to drop weight is diet with cardio, but the most effective way is to include a muscle building routine.  If you have a hard time running long enough or lifting weights at the gym or in your home try finding ways to motivate you such as getting good workout songs or getting pumped up in other ways while exercising.
