You can do all of the crazy ab machines and gadgets that exist and you won’t see any real differences in your stomach until you start controlling what you eat. It is good to be working out your abs because muscle burns fat faster than fat will burn fat. It’s always a good idea to build muscle to lose fat but losing fat requires proper nutrition. Does this mean that you can’t eat carbs anymore? No! The human body needs carbohydrates and you should never cut them from your diet. The truth about abs is that everyone has them, actually everyone has a 6 pack but for most people there is just too much fat on top of it. The goal shouldn’t be trying to get a six pack since you already have that, it should be on focusing your efforts to make your six pack abs visible by shedding that belly fat. The true question should be “How can I lose belly fat?”

Losing belly fat is not as hard as you might think, but it does take action. You can’t continue to eat the way you have been eating and expect to look any different. Learning how to get a ripped body requires a little sacrifice. Many times it’s not what you can’t eat but what you should eat. If you are eating everything you should be eating, you won’t ever go hungry and you will feel too full for any junk food. Think of the last time you had the correct portions of fruits and vegetables in one day. Now think of drinking the recommended amount of water each day along eating all of the proper foods you should be eating. That’s a lot of food!
